The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut there from Azambuja.
A left lands for Azambuja.
Ferreira tries to close the distance and clinch but Azambuja swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ferreira looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Ferreira lands with a nice body kick.
Ferreira lands a nice leg kick that just misses Azambuja's sensitive parts.

Ferreira takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Azambuja throws a hook but Ferreira blocks it.

and Ferreira counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Azambuja throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Ferreira counters with an outside leg kick.
Ferreira is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Azambuja was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Azambuja misses the body punch
and Ferreira counters with a big head kick but Azambuja shrugs it off.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
