Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dillion Danis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Box! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Ivan Kurochkin and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Danis misses with a takedown and Box counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Danis is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Box throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Danis to regain full guard. Danis wants to sweep here but Box controlling him for the moment. Box wants to control from the top but Danis keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Danis looking to hit a scissor sweep but Box is one step ahead there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Box trying to control the position from guard on top but Danis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Danis looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Box has picked Danis up and slammed him! Danis can't keep hold of the triangle and Box manages to pass to side control! Box tries to advance to mount but can't. Danis is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now. The ground and pound from Box seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Box really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Danis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Box trying to control the position but Danis is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Danis struggling a bit here. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Danis is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Danis is trying to get back to half guard. Danis is not content to let Box control the position. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. An elbow from Box crashes against the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Box wants to control but Danis is keeping him busy. Box controlling from side mount.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Danis closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Box to the mat! Box manages to get full guard. Danis postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Box is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Danis, into his guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Danis has his feet on Box's thighs here. He's pushed Box off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Box screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
