Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Django Ripa (ranked 2097 p4p, 294 weight class) and Robin Olsen (ranked 2416 p4p, 326 weight class). Ripa's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, American Woman. Django Ripa has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Phil Schofield and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olsen shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ripa manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Olsen thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ripa is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Olsen is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Olsen drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Olsen jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Ripa knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Olsen on the ground.
Olsen pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ripa is keeping the position for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Olsen drops back looking for a leg! Ripa is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ripa manages to kick Olsen off! Olsen jumps back into Ripa's guard.
Ripa on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ripa tries to get out of the position.
Olsen drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ripa dives on top into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Ripa has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Olsen to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Ripa is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Olsen pulls down on the head and he's put Ripa to sleep! This one is all over!
