Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Julius Wolf (ranked 462 p4p, 60 weight class) and Jerry Jacobs (ranked 1289 p4p, 168 weight class). Julius Wolf has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jerry Jacobs!
The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Steve Erwin and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wolf misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jacobs.
Jacobs is looking for the big counter here.
Wolf darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Wolf prevents Jacobs from improving his position.
Wolf scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Wolf in particular looking to stall.
Jacobs tries to roll over but Wolf keeps him under control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jacobs is trying to stand back up but Wolf is controlling him
Jacobs felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Jacobs wants to get back to full guard.

Wolf has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Wolf cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Jacobs tries to lock up and control but Wolf gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Jacobs is trying to reverse the position but instead Wolf has taken his back - oops!
Wolf looking to break Jacobs's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Jacobs remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Wolf will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Jacobs prevents Wolf from getting a body triangle.
Jacobs is covering up but some of the strikes from Wolf are getting through and doing damage.
Wolf definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Wolf wants to control but Jacobs manages to buck him off and is now in Wolf's guard! Nice work there by Jacobs!
Wolf working for a triangle but Jacobs defends it easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jacobs stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wolf swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Wolf keeping moving, preventing Jacobs from controlling successfully.

Wolf has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Jacobs trying to control but Wolf is working from the bottom.
Jacobs loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Wolf wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Jacobs wants to stand but Wolf is controlling his posture from full guard.
Jacobs is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Wolf has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Jacobs is looking to defend but Wolf has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Jacobs! Wolf pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Jacobs taps out and this one is all over!
