Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Darwin (ranked 2058 p4p, 244 weight class) and Dave Brooksbank (ranked 2490 p4p, 283 weight class). Charlie Darwin is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, William Gold and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Darwin misses the target.
Brooksbank shoots in looking for a takedown but Darwin manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Brooksbank's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
It looked like Darwin wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Darwin, as that shot connected.
Darwin rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Brooksbank counters with a nice double leg into side control. Darwin won't be happy with that.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Darwin is looking to regain half guard here but Brooksbank keeps moving and retains side control.

Darwin is desperately trying to improve his position but Brooksbank has a good base and remains in mount.
Brooksbank is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Darwin can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Brooksbank goes for a double leg but Darwin avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Darwin continues to drive forward.

Brooksbank tries to score a power double leg takedown but Darwin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Brooksbank somewhat.

and Darwin connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Darwin throws a hook to the side of Brooksbank's head but Brooksbank sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Darwin drops Brooksbank with a straight right hand, right on the button! Darwin follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:12 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Charlie Darwin!
In his post fight interview, Charlie Darwin started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
