Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Bishop (ranked 636 p4p, 71 weight class) and Do Ho Joy (ranked 968 p4p, 101 weight class). Bishop comes to the cage accompanied by Ghetts - Artillery. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Do Ho Joy!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Saam Ante and Radbod Blank.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ho Joy thumps Bishop with a low kick.
Bishop looks to land a left hand but Ho Joy moved out of range nicely.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Bishop.
Bishop fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Ho Joy is out of range.
Ho Joy throws a leg kick that misses.
Bishop looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Bishop looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A nice inside leg kick there by Ho Joy. That's going to slow Bishop down.
Jackson Bishop seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bishop misses with an uppercut
and Ho Joy counters with a body kick that stops Bishop in his tracks momentarily.
Bishop displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ho Joy throws out the jab.

Bishop shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ho Joy manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bishop stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ho Joy swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

It looks like Jackson Bishop has been cut.

and Ho Joy counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Ho Joy's coach down at Secret Lab was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Ho Joy's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Ho Joy sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bishop's guard.

Bishop is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ho Joy.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Ho Joy! But no joy.

Bishop feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Ho Joy takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Jackson Bishop spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
