Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leroy Brown (ranked 1810 p4p, 61 weight class) and Augusto Pinochet (ranked 463 p4p, 18 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Leroy Brown! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Augusto Pinochet! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Atkins and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pinochet circles away quickly and effectively. Brown lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Pinochet ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Brown connects with the punch. Brown dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Decent striking displayed by Brown there. An inside leg kick lands from Brown. Pinochet tries to clinch but Brown is having none of it. Leroy Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pinochet tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Brown lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Pinochet takes the fight into the clinch. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Brown throws a punch but it's blocked by Pinochet. Brown lands with a light punch inside. Brown working some nice short punches in the clinch.
That has opened up Augusto Pinochet's cut even more. Pinochet tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Brown smiles and moves away.
Pinochet takes a head kick and keeps coming.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pinochet forces Brown back against the cage and clinches. Pinochet pulls guard effortlessly. Pinochet controls Brown momentarily but Brown frees himself. Pinochet can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Brown controls the pace. Brown's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Pinochet keeping moving, preventing Brown from controlling successfully. Brown tries to free his leg and advance position but Pinochet is retaining full guard. Pinochet escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brown gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pinochet bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Brown's guard. Pinochet postures up.
Pinochet is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. My spies in Captain Turturro`s Pirate Ship inform me that Pinochet has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Brown is trying to hold Pinochet in close to prevent damage but Pinochet has managed to pass into half guard.
Pinochet is looking for a kimura here.
Brown knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pinochet on the ground. Pinochet is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Pinochet wants to control but Brown is keeping him busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pinochet is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Pinochet is looking for a kimura but Brown is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Pinochet to get the leverage. Pinochet has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Pinochet is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Pinochet extends the arm and Brown is forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Augusto Pinochet! Augusto Pinochet tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
