Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcelo Groman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabio Iago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Iago has chosen Smells Like Teen Spirit as his entrance music. Marcelo Groman is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marcelo Groman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fabio Iago!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Seu Braga and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iago fails to land the takedown.
Horrible takedown by Iago or perhaps it was just good defense by Groman which made him look bad.
Groman closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Groman lands in his opponent's guard.
Iago has an active guard here but Groman has managed to pass into half guard.
Iago is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Groman pulls his head out easily.
Groman prevents Iago from improving his position.
Groman is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Iago is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Iago is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Groman tries to pass the half guard into mount. Iago knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Iago moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Groman has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Iago to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Groman is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Iago pulls down on the head and he's put Groman to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Fabio Iago!
