Mir is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Runnin. Vincent Hard could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Diego Mir's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mir wants to clinch. Mir wants to clinch. Mir shoots for a double leg takedown but Hard sprawls well. He's pushed Mir's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Mir tries to clinch there but Hard circles away.

Mir looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Mir! Hard tries to improve position but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mir tries to stand but Hard controls the position and pulls Mir into his guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Mir wants to stand but Hard has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Hard looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Mir is defending well. Hard quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Mir has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Hard celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
