Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Maxxy Baby (ranked 1450 p4p, 154 weight class) and Raymond Donde (ranked 1841 p4p, 187 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Maxxy Baby!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Raymond Donde!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jonathan Paton and Columbo Gatti.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baby misses with a wild body shot.
Baby lunges at Donde with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Donde's hand.
Baby tries to land a leg kick but Donde saw it coming and moves away.
Baby has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Donde shoots in looking for a takedown. Baby tries to sprawl out of it but Donde keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Baby manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
It looked like Baby was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Donde.

The fight stays on the outside here - Donde looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Donde goes for a double leg but Baby avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Baby continues to drive forward.

Donde has hold of Baby's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Baby manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Donde is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Baby is defending well though. Donde let's go of the attempt for now.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Donde has his foot on Baby's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Baby works his way back into a safe position though.

Donde has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Baby can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That was a close round but I would say that Maxxy Baby will probably get the nod.

Donde feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
