7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gorgeous Bob! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Steven Kennedy! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Anthony Taglia and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good shot there by Bob. Bob tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kennedy defends well and Bob ends up having to push Kennedy into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Bob waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kennedy. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kennedy has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Kennedy throws a body shot but no joy. Kennedy is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Bob throws a quick inside leg kick. Kennedy shoots in for a takedown but Bob shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's four minutes gone in the round. A combination from Bob does no damage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bob listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Bob punishes Kennedy's body with a nice straight punch. Bob throws a body shot but no joy. Kennedy replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Bob blocks it well. Bob misses with a series of wild punches.
