Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anthony Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Blitz Wolfman!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Reed Andrews and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson ducks under a wild hook from Wolfman.
Johnson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Wolfman.
A little feinted left hand from Johnson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Wolfman moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.


It looks like Blitz Wolfman has been cut.
Wolfman keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Blitz Wolfman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnson on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Johnson wants to clinch up but Wolfman keeps it at a distance.
Wolfman throws a hook to the side of Johnson's head but Johnson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Johnson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

and Johnson counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Wolfman thinking.
Johnson scores with a hook to the body. Wolfman takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Wolfman bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Johnson checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Johnson wants to land a leg kick but Wolfman is out of range.
Johnson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wolfman stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Wolfman throws a jab when Johnson was well out of range.
Johnson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Johnson needs to keep his hands up - Wolfman had a free shot at his head there.
Blitz Wolfman is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Johnson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Oh Johnson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wolfman throws a lazy uppercut
and Johnson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Johnson seems to have got his legs back now.
Johnson stuns Wolfman with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Wolfman slaps away a takedown attempt from Johnson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Wolfman fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Johnson manages to avoid it.
Johnson tries to clinch but Wolfman moves out of range.
Johnson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Johnson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Johnson closes the distance but Wolfman moves to the side
and Wolfman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Johnson is looking to wear down Wolfman with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Johnson drops his hands momentarily and Wolfman takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Wolfman looks to land a left hand but Johnson moved out of range nicely.
Johnson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Wolfman.
Wolfman throws a lazy right hand but Johnson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Johnson is looking to counter the offense by Wolfman and move into the clinch.
Wolfman avoids the body shot from Johnson.
A good leg kick by Wolfman.
Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wolfman swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Johnson misses with a double jab.
Johnson looks to land a combination but Wolfman avoids it well.
Johnson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Wolfman cracks Johnson with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Wolfman is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Johnson had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

No joy there for Wolfman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Johnson counters with a nice body shot.

Wolfman connects with a right hand. Johnson shakes it off.

Johnson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Johnson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Wolfman looks winded!

Wolfman fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Johnson checks it well.
Wolfman misses with a hook. Johnson ducked under it nicely.
Wolfman throws a wild hook but Johnson just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Wolfman gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Johnson raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Anthony Johnson!
