Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chief Eyes (ranked 3355 p4p, 374 weight class) and John Starman (ranked 3403 p4p, 380 weight class). Starman has chosen David Bowie - Starman as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The key to victory for Chief Eyes has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, John Mangel and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Starman smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Eyes closes the distance but Starman moves to the side
and Starman counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Eyes tries to clinch but Starman moves out of range.

and Starman counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Eyes is rocked!
Eyes misses with a body punch
and Starman shoots in, scooping Eyes off his feet. Starman is holding his opponent over his shoulder. He slams Eyes to the mat and Eyes is in big trouble! Starman is landing strikes to his unconscious foe and the ref dives in to end the fight! Starman is celebrating with his corner and rightfully so.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). John Starman!
