Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Massimo Damiani!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Silvio Dante!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Francis DeMontford and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dante lands a right hook to the body.
Damiani displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dante throws out the jab.
It looked like Damiani wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
The crowd cheers as Dante lands an impressive looking overhand right. Damiani doesn't seem phased though.
Dante tests Damiani's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Dante lands a body shot.
Dante misses with a straight right.
Damiani on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Damiani throws a hook but Dante blocks it.
Dante's corner calls for a 1-2. Dante obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Dante connects with a single shot there.
Damiani cracks Dante with a right hand to the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Damiani drops Dante with a beautiful combination! Dante stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Damiani is looking for the KO!
Dante is rocked!
Dante throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Damiani counters with a nice body kick.
Dante is still on wobbly legs! Can Damiani finish him?
Dante throws a poor cross that misses
and Damiani counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Dante has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Massimo Damiani!
Massimo Damiani was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
