Coming up we have a featherweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Uzumaki Yahiko (ranked 6309 p4p, 393 weight class) and Tyronne Spong (ranked 2723 p4p, 300 weight class). Tyronne Spong is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the featherweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Uzumaki Yahiko! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 0 losses; Tyronne Spong!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Spong throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Yahiko's waist but Yahiko gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Spong off to one side.
Yahiko looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Spong is fending him off so far but Yahiko persists. Nope, Spong circles away and we're back to standing.
Spong has taken the fight to the clinch.
Spong successfully pulls guard.
Yahiko trying to control but Spong is working from the bottom.
Spong wants to sweep here but Yahiko controlling him for the moment.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Spong has his foot on Yahiko's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Yahiko works his way back into a safe position though.
Spong looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Yahiko knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Spong on the ground.

Yahiko is stalling in the full guard.

Yahiko wants to control but Spong is keeping him busy.
Yahiko looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Yahiko seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Spong does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Spong is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Yahiko is tapping! Great win for Spong!
