Coming up we have a middleweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Baristen Selmy (ranked 3388 p4p, 396 weight class) and Billy Brown (ranked 5875 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by CCR - Bad Moon Rising. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 0 losses; Billy Brown!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paulsen Ambrosius and Daniel Blasius.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Selmy tries to clinch there but Brown circles away.
And Brown tries to counter it with a takedown but Selmy pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Selmy moves in looking to clinch but Brown pushes him off.
Selmy looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Brown closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Selmy makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Selmy.

Selmy is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Brown is aware though and is defending well.

Selmy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Brown can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Brown is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Brown must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Brown stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Selmy swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Selmy has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Brown should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Selmy has tightened it up now! Brown should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
