Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Leo Kovarov (ranked 1996 p4p, 96 weight class) and Seng Goku (ranked 3042 p4p, 144 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goku closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Kovarov wants to get back to his feet.
Goku wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kovarov, who protects the arm well.
Goku thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Kovarov is looking for a sweep.
Kovarov is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Goku can do anything to dispel that myth.

Kovarov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Goku with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Goku is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kovarov pulls his head out easily.
Kovarov is looking to take a break and control but Goku is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Kovarov dives in and grabs Goku's left leg, looking for a takedown. Goku pushes down on Kovarov's head and hops out.
