Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tiko Gardeau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and guigui borgne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). guigui borgne struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.0lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Tiko Gardeau could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to guigui borgne's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

borgne clinches up with Gardeau and pushes him back against the cage.
Gardeau wants a takedown.
Gardeau tries to score a body lock takedown but borgne shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

borgne escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gardeau steps to the side to avoid the strikes from borgne.
The fight stays on the outside here - borgne looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Gardeau bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gardeau tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Gardeau advances nicely into full mount.
borgne is trying to escape the mount.

Gardeau swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and borgne is now in Gardeau's guard. A big mistake from Gardeau there, giving up the dominant position!
borgne looks gassed!

Gardeau throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! borgne escapes and throws Gardeau's legs to the side, diving into side control!

borgne gets to mount! Gardeau was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gardeau tries to get back to half guard but can't.

borgne looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
borgne throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Gardeau wants to control but borgne is having none of it.

borgne blocks Gardeau's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Gardeau regains half guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
The fighters are battling for position here. Gardeau manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

borgne drops back looking for a leg! Gardeau is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gardeau manages to kick borgne off! borgne jumps back into Gardeau's guard.

borgne avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Gardeau has his feet on borgne's thighs here. He's pushed borgne off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! borgne screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
