Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wally Kruschev (ranked 5584 p4p, 0 weight class) and Collin Matteo (ranked 3858 p4p, 0 weight class). Kruschev's entrance music is Every Me Every You. A fine choice. Matteo is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: LITTLE BIG - PUNKS NOT DEAD. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kruschev fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Matteo.
Matteo moves into the clinch successfully.

Matteo throws a big counter head kick but Kruschev avoids it with no problem.

Kruschev takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Kruschev will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

No joy there for Kruschev, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kruschev paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Matteo doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kruschev stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

and Kruschev counters with a huge left! Matteo is in big trouble! He's backing up but Kruschev isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Matteo from any more damage. A dominating finish by Kruschev!
