The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Steven Brown and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thorvaldsson lands a nice looking body shot.
Thorvaldsson lands a nice hook to Palmer 's body. Palmer takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Palmer takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Palmer closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Palmer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Thorvaldsson sprawls well. Thorvaldsson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Palmer gets slowly back to his feet.
Palmer shoots in but Thorvaldsson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Thorvaldsson counters with a huge left! Palmer is in big trouble! He's backing up but Thorvaldsson isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Palmer from any more damage. A dominating finish by Thorvaldsson!
