The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guerreo shoots in and gets a takedown into Heath's guard.
Heath wants to stand but Guerreo is controlling the position.

Heath's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Guerreo closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Heath did well to prevent Guerreo getting side control.

Guerreo looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Heath with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Guerreo is trying to work for a kimura but Heath is defending well.
Guerreo takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Let's hope that Guerreo has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Heath tries to kick Guerreo off but Guerreo keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Guerreo feints and as Heath raises his hands in defense, Guerreo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Guerreo gets control of Heath's arms and successfully pulls guard. Guerreo will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Heath throws a sloppy strike and Guerreo has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Heath is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Guerreo!
