Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between William Volkov (ranked 17867 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terryn Dall (ranked 4115 p4p, 369 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Volkov might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Parkway Drive - Dark Days. Terryn Dall has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, William Volkov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Terryn Dall! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dall displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Volkov throws out the jab. Nice cross by Volkov. Volkov uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Dall has time to react. Dall cracks a nice hook into Volkov's ribs. Volkov throws a hook but Dall blocks it. Dall has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Volkov finds it's way round the side to connect with Dall's head. Volkov misses the shot to the body. Dall tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Volkov lands a nice shot to the body.
Sloppy strikes from Volkov. Those never looked like landing. Dall changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Dall closes the distance and clinches up with Volkov, looking for a takedown. Dall pushes Volkov against the cage but Volkov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Dall slips a jab from Volkov. Volkov misses with an uppercut. Dall saw that one coming.
That's one minute gone in the round. Volkov scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. William Volkov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dall takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Volkov looks to land a left hand but Dall moved out of range nicely. Volkov scores with the left hand. Dall knows he should have avoided that one. The fighters circling - Volkov throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Dall staying out of range there. Dall doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Volkov rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Dall counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Volkov misses with a body shot.
Dall uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Volkov. Dall looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. A looping hook to the body misses from Volkov. Dall does a little dance to reset his feet. Dall is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Volkov with a body shot. Volkov fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Volkov throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Dall cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like William Volkov has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Volkov misses with a right hand and Dall counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Volkov down! Dall is looking to finish but Volkov is intelligently defending himself. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Volkov keeping full guard, as Dall tries to pass. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dall thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Dall slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Dall has gone for a leg lock! Volkov slips out almost immediately though and dives into Dall's guard.
Dall is looking for a triangle but Volkov pushes his legs off easily.
Volkov would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Volkov is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Dall has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Volkov is looking to defend but Dall has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Volkov! Dall pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Volkov taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Terryn Dall! Terryn Dall bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
