Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Dmitry Maklakov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aliyev moves into range and clinches up with Mbele.
Mbele tries for a takedown. No joy.
Aliyev escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Aliyev lands a front kick.
Mbele is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Mbele shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Aliyev's guard.
Mbele prevents Aliyev from getting back to his feet.

Mbele postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Aliyev is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Mbele, into his guard.
Mbele working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Aliyev doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Mbele is tightening it up a little... Aliyev has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Aliyev reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Aliyev taps out! nice BJJ there by Mbele!
