The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Da Rocha misses with a straight left.
Wallace swings and misses with a shot to the body
letting Da Rocha counter with a right hand.
Wallace slips a jab and a cross from Da Rocha.
Da Rocha takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Wallace tries to bum rush Da Rocha with a series of wild strikes but Da Rocha uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nice defenses there by Wallace.
Wallace takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Da Rocha throws out a loose jab but Wallace uses good head movement to avoid it.

Da Rocha has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

A decent looking cross lands there for Wallace.
Da Rocha wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Wallace slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oh Wallace is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Da Rocha might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Wallace might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Da Rocha cracks Wallace with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
