The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Llanos shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Silva looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Llanos wanted to stand there but Silva had control of the position. Silva looking to hit a scissor sweep but Llanos is one step ahead there. Llanos wants to get up but he can't break Silva's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Llanos loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Llanos wants to pass the guard but Silva is keeping the position. Silva is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Silva has momentary wrist control but Llanos slips an elbow through the middle. Llanos missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Llanos controlling from the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Llanos wants to stand but Silva is controlling his posture from full guard. Llanos tries to free his leg and advance position but Silva is retaining full guard. Llanos landing some decent shots from guard. Llanos slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Llanos passes easily into side control. Nice work. Llanos working the ground and pound from side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Silva trying to remain calm as Llanos controls from the top position. Llanos has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Let's hope that Llanos has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Llanos scoring with punches and elbows. Llanos working the ground and pound from side control. Llanos tries for a kimura but Silva is defending well. Silva can't do much from the bottom here. Silva is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Llanos has just dragged him back down to the mat. Silva can't do much from the bottom here. Silva is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Llanos is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Llanos decides to stand up, so the ref orders Silva to his feet. Llanos wants to clinch up but Silva keeps it at a distance. Llanos shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Silva wants to improve his position but Llanos is controlling well.
Silva has one foot on Llanos's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Silva gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily enabling Llanos to counter with a crisp jab. Llanos moves into the clinch. Llanos gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Llanos is controlling the pace.
Silva slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Silva wants to sweep but no luck. Llanos stands up from guard. Let's bang! Good work by Silva as he checks the leg kick. Alex Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Silva misses with a takedown and Llanos counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Llanos. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Llanos trying to control but Silva is working from the bottom. Silva wants to get back to his feet but Llanos is in a dominant position and won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Silva lands with a straight right. Llanos didn't see that one coming. Llanos tries to bum rush Silva with a series of wild strikes but Silva uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Llanos lands with a nice combination. Silva backs away looking to recover. Llanos rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Silva moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Silva thows a body shot but no joy. Llanos tries a head kick but it misses.
Llanos scores with a takedown into Silva's guard. Llanos slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Llanos works over Silva with some ground and pound from guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Llanos stands up and waves to Silva to follow him. Silva blocks a head kick by Llanos.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva gets a takedown into half guard. Llanos is trying to control but Silva manages to pass to mount!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Silva cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Llanos tries to lock up and control but Silva gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Llanos tries to get back to half guard but can't. Llanos regains half guard. Silva is tying to control. Llanos wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Llanos manages to escape and get back to his feet! Silva is looking to clinch but Llanos is avoiding it.
Silva shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Llanos counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Silva's guard now. Llanos has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Silva is proving hard to escape from. Josh Llanos has got the better of the ground game so far. Silva looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Llanos wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving. Llanos wants to stand but Silva has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Silva is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now. Llanos scores with a couple of short elbows. Llanos stands up and beckons Silva to his feet. Llanos is looking to chop away at Silva's legs. Llanos throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Silva tries for a takedown but Llanos circles away easily and Llanos counters with a takedown into side control. Llanos working away. Llanos trying to control the position but Silva is working away. Llanos has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Silva! Silva is squirming around, avoiding Llanos's attempts to control the action. Llanos controlling the pace for now. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Silva is trying to escape the mount.

Josh Llanos showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Llanos darts in and clinches Silva up against the cage. Llanos pulls guard successfully.
Llanos has control of Silva's left arm, preventing Silva from doing any damage. Silva wants to control from the top but Llanos keeps moving. Llanos wriggles free and stands up. A right-left combo lands from Llanos. Llanos shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Llanos has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Silva is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Llanos is landing with some decent strikes but Silva is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Llanos can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Silva is looking to escape. Llanos putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
That's one minute gone in the round. Llanos sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Silva is wriggling around trying to escape.
Llanos lands a nice shot to the head. Llanos with shots to the head and body - Silva looks very uncomfortable down there. Silva takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Silva is desperately trying to improve his position but Llanos has a good base and remains in mount. Llanos content just to control the position here. Llanos moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Silva has worked his arm free - good work by Silva!
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Llanos stands up and beckons Silva to his feet. Llanos lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Silva misses with a takedown and Llanos counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Llanos postures up.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Llanos's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Llanos trying to control but Silva is working from the bottom. Llanos throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Silva works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Llanos gets to his feet. Silva looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Llanos fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Silva sprawls well initially but Llanos persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Llanos perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Silva controlling the position well. Llanos stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Silva wants to clinch. Llanos closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Llanos manages to pull guard.

Llanos has his foot on Silva's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Silva works his way back into a safe position though. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Llanos is looking for a triangle but Silva pushes his legs off easily.

And that's the end of the fight! Josh Llanos comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Llanos has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
