And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, John Roberts and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Mercy enables Braz to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mercy manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Braz postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Mercy is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Braz, into his guard.
Mercy wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Braz's closed guard. He's half up but Braz has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Braz pivots and extends the arm, Mercy falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Braz! Well done that man!
