Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Paul Beecher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Michael MP!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Franklyn Lucas and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MP swinging wildly here.
MP tries a head kick but it misses.
MP fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
MP shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
An attempted straight right counter from Beecher misses the target.
MP ducks right into an uppercut from Beecher.
MP throws a sloppy head kick
and Beecher counters with a big head kick but MP shrugs it off.
Beecher forces MP back against the cage and clinches.
Beecher breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Beecher lands a jab to MP's midsection.
Beecher has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

MP has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Beecher.
MP walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Beecher throws a front kick aimed at MP's knee but MP avoids it well.
MP throws a combination that misses
and Beecher counters with a solid body kick.
MP looks winded!
A head kick misses from MP.
Beecher lands a big head kick that sends MP tumbling to the mat! Beecher takes a step backwards and waves MP back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Michael MP has been cut.
Michael MP seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round.
MP throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Beecher throws a counter high kick but MP was just alert enough to avoid it.
Beecher really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

MP is still on wobbly legs! Can Beecher finish him?
MP wants to stay close but Beecher steps back to make room for something. MP seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Beecher and MP drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Paul Beecher!
After the fight, Paul Beecher was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
The defeated Michael MP had this to say: 'That was unexpected. Give me another 5 minutes and that dude is getting wrecked.'.
