Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Charles Timbu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Danny Perez! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Perez stuffs the takedown. Timbu tries for a takedown but Perez sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Perez keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Timbu throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Perez's waist but Perez gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Timbu off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Charles Timbu. That's going to take a lot out of him. Timbu looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Timbu shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Timbu showed some decent athleticism there. Perez looking for submissions off his back. Perez gets back to full guard.
Timbu drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Perez dives on top into guard. Timbu is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Perez trying to control but Timbu is working from the bottom. Timbu is looking for a triangle but Perez pushes his legs off easily.
Timbu is breathing heavily. Perez is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Perez tries to free his leg and advance position but Timbu is retaining full guard. Perez content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Perez postures up and lands a big shot to Timbu's brow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Timbu looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Perez passes into side control.
Timbu is looking to reverse the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Perez looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Timbu being controlled for a moment. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Timbu sneaks back into half guard. Perez trying to mount his opponent but Timbu defends it. Perez is looking for a kimura but Timbu is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Perez to get the leverage. Timbu is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Perez's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Perez's back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Perez breaks Timbu's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Perez prevents Timbu from getting back to his feet. Perez is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Timbu is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Perez is controlling him. Perez stands and steps away. Timbu gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Perez moves into range and clinches up with Timbu. Perez lands a body shot in the clinch.
Timbu wants to break free but Perez has control.
Timbu jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Perez walks away with a smile on his face. Timbu gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Timbu fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Perez clinches up with Timbu and pushes him back against the cage. Perez jumps into guard, dragging Timbu to the mat.

Timbu drops back, looking for a kneebar! Perez looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Perez looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Perez! Timbu sneaks back into half guard. Perez passes the guard and advances to mount! Timbu is trying desperately to improve position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Danny Perez dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!

Timbu misses with a hook from the clinch. Timbu pulls Perez into guard.
Timbu had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Perez is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Timbu Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Perez's back instead. Perez is really stuck here.
Timbu doesn't have the hooks in and Perez manages to turn into his guard.
Perez drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Perez jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Timbu working for a triangle but Perez defends it easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Perez wants to pass the guard but Timbu is keeping the position. Perez trying to control but Timbu is working from the bottom. Perez tries to free his leg and advance position but Timbu is retaining full guard. Timbu looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Perez drops back looking for a leg! Timbu is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Timbu manages to kick Perez off! Perez jumps back into Timbu's guard. Timbu not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Timbu tries to roll over but Perez keeps him under control. Perez lands strikes from half guard. Perez is trying to control the action in half guard but Timbu is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Perez tries to pass the half guard into mount. Timbu knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. The fighters are battling for position here. Timbu manages to regain full guard. Nice work. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Perez accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Perez postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Perez throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Timbu fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Timbu looks to land a combination but Perez avoids it well. Perez moves into the clinch. Timbu wants to break the clinch but can't.
The is referee keeping an eye on Perez - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Perez jumps guard and drags Timbu to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Timbu won't allow Perez to sweep him here. Perez looking for a guillotine here but Timbu defends easily.
Perez looking to hit a scissor sweep but Timbu is one step ahead there. Timbu gets to his feet. Perez looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Charles Timbu dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Timbu fails with the takedown. Charles Timbu is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Timbu throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Timbu swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Timbu fails with the takedown. Charles Timbu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Perez avoids the head kick by Timbu.
Perez drives through with a takedown into guard. Perez working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Perez won't allow Timbu to get back to his feet. Perez with a nice head shot there. Perez looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Timbu has momentary wrist control but Perez slips an elbow through the middle. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Perez sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Timbu's guard. Perez prevents Timbu from improving his position. Perez is working for a kimura but Timbu is defending it quite comfortably.
Timbu tries to get to full guard but Perez has control of the leg. Danny Perez has got the better of the ground game so far. Perez is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Timbu manages to get to full guard.
Timbu wants to stand and escape but Perez is having none of it. Timbu has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Perez can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Perez passes easily into side control. Nice work. Timbu is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Timbu is looking to escape. Timbu makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Timbu fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Timbu fails with the takedown and Perez counters with a nice double leg into guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Charles Timbu. That's going to take a lot out of him. Timbu throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Timbu isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Perez stacks Timbu on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Perez! Perez is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Timbu knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Timbu regains half guard. Timbu pushes Perez off looking to stand but Perez dives back in and keeps control.

Timbu trying to get back to full guard but Perez takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Perez landing strikes from the mount. Timbu is in all sorts of trouble here.

And that's the end of the fight! Danny Perez comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Perez has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
