Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Charles Timbu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perez stuffs the takedown.
Timbu tries for a takedown but Perez sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Perez keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Timbu throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Perez's waist but Perez gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Timbu off to one side.

Timbu looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Timbu shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Timbu showed some decent athleticism there.

Timbu drops back, looking for a kneebar! Perez looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Perez looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Perez!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Timbu has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Perez can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Timbu fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Timbu isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Perez stacks Timbu on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Perez!

Well Perez has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
