OC! Grappling 7 PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between TJ Hearts (ranked 2051 p4p, 240 weight class) and Aloysius Martin Thesz (ranked 3865 p4p, 372 weight class). Aloysius Martin Thesz told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 1 losses; TJ Hearts! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 21 wins and 15 losses; Aloysius Martin Thesz!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and James Atkins.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Hearts closes the distance and pushes Thesz back into the cage.
Thesz has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hearts avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Aloysius Martin Thesz opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see. |
