PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cyber Bully (ranked 5082 p4p, 0 weight class) and One Punch (ranked 3024 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bully fakes the leg kick and cracks Punch in the body.
Punch takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Bully throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Bully lands a jab to Punch's midsection.
That kick from Bully tenderised Punch's leg. Punch is trying to keep his angry face on.
Bully lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Bully lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Bully fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Punch has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Bully lands a nice shot to the body.

Bully shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Punch napping and manages to drive through into side control!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Bully wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Punch, who protects the arm well.
We've been hearing that Bully has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Punch can do anything to dispel that myth.

Punch parries the strikes from Bully easily there. Bully is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Punch to escape.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Bully swings around for an armbar but Punch sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Bully's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Bully pushes a forearm under Punch's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Punch is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
