Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lito Alcala (ranked 46 p4p, 1 weight class) and Dohn Jodson (ranked 143 p4p, 6 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lito Alcala! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dohn Jodson! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Lou da Vinci and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jodson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Alcala sees it coming and avoids it easily. Alcala moves out of range as Jodson strikes. It looked like Alcala wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Alcala has Jodson up against the cage in a clinch.
Jodson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Nice uppercut there from Alcala. Alcala looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Jodson throws a hook to the side of Alcala's head but Alcala sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Alcala blocks the body kick.
Alcala throws a body punch but Jodson moves out of range. A good leg kick by Alcala. A swing and a miss from Alcala. Jodson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Jodson throws a hook to the side of Alcala's head but Alcala sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jodson throws a big shot that misses. Jodson misses with a body shot.
Jodson takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Jodson throws a half hearted mid kick. Jodson throws a sloppy head kick and Alcala moves out of range easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jab, jab by Alcala - just one landing. A jab from Jodson misses. Lito Alcala seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Alcala connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jodson's hands. Alcala tries to work over Jodson's front leg with a kick but Jodson checks it. Alcala rushes Jodson and presses him up against the cage. A right hand to the body from Jodson.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Jodson. Jodson manages to break the clinch.
Jodson ducks under a wild hook from Alcala. Alcala blocks a head kick by Jodson.
Jodson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Alcala lands a head shot. Alcala connects with a jab. Alcala doesn't manage to clinch there - Jodson circles away.
Jodson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Alcala manages to avoid it. Jodson ducks under a wild hook from Alcala.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jodson on the wrong end of a nice hook. Alcala swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Alcala moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromJodson. Alcala dips down and scores with a jab to the body. The fighters circling - Jodson throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Alcala is looking to counter punch. Alcala missing with a left hand there. Jodson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Jodson is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. Jodson takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Alcala jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Jodson misses with a low kick.
Alcala stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Alcala tries to clinch up. Alcala throws a big shot that misses. Jodson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Alcala stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Alcala throws out a token jab with nothing on it. It seemed like Jodson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Alcala lands with a cross.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Alcala lands with a cross. Alcala takes the fight into the clinch. Alcala is looking to break free of the clinch but Jodson has double underhooks. Alcala's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Alcala clinches with his opponent.
Jodson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Alcala is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Alcala throws a lazy uppercut
enabling Jodson to counter with a crisp jab. Alcala misses with a looping left. Jodson on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Nice body kick there by Alcala. Alcala misses with a looping left. Alcala misses with an uppercut. Jodson saw that one coming. Alcala loads up on a big right hand but Jodson slips the punch. Alcala misses with a straight left. Jodson feints a counter leg kick. Alcala moves away from the strike by Jodson.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jodson throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jodson throws a looping overhand right but Alcala ducks down to avoid it. Alcala misses with a left hand and Jodson counters with a nice right hand that sends Alcala toppling to the canvas! Alcala scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Jodson finish him?!
Alcala is rocked! Jodson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Alcala. Oh Alcala is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Alcala uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jodson. Alcala looks to throw the jab but Jodson is out of range. Alcala seems to have got his legs back now. Alcala misses with a hook. Jodson ducked under it nicely. Alcala tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Alcala turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Alcala tries to close the distance and clinch but Jodson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Alcala lands with a nice combination. Jodson backs away looking to recover. Nice shot by Alcala. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Alcala misses with a hook to the body
and Jodson counters with a straight right hand. Jodson misses with a straight left. Jodson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lito Alcala dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Alcala misses with a left hand and Jodson scores with a counter punch that sends Alcala to the canvas! Jodson smells blood - he's punishing Alcala with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Alcala has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dohn Jodson! Dohn Jodson is the new bantamweight champion!
