Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between King Murhaa (ranked 1852 p4p, 268 weight class) and Dennis Steiner (ranked 4698 p4p, 492 weight class). Dennis Steiner will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, King Murhaa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dennis Steiner! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, John Roberts and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steiner scores with a hook to the body. Murhaa takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Murhaa shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Steiner defends it nicely. Steiner is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Steiner circles away from the clinch attempt.
Steiner defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Murhaa. Murhaa takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Steiner connects with a right hand. Murhaa shakes it off. Steiner lands a jab to the nose. Murhaa shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Steiner is doing well to control the position and prevent Murhaa from advancing to side control. Steiner trying to control from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Murhaa seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Steiner does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Steiner is trying to stand up here but Murhaa is controlling him well. Steiner is controlling Murhaa's position as best he can from this difficult position. Murhaa not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Murhaa is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Steiner defends it well. Murhaa frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Murhaa landing strikes, looking to finish! Steiner has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Steiner is squirming around, avoiding Murhaa's attempts to control the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Steiner is desperately trying to improve his position but Murhaa has a good base and remains in mount. Murhaa looking for a guillotine from mount but Steiner is having none of it. Murhaa lands a nice shot to the head. Steiner keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Murhaa looking to secure an arm triangle but Steiner defends it well. Murhaa goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Steiner is on top in guard.
Murhaa is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Murhaa has Steiner pulled in close to control his posture. Steiner postures up.
Steiner looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Let's hope that Steiner has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Murhaa is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Steiner defends well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Steiner looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Murhaa has his hands on Steiner's head, controlling the position. Murhaa looking for a sweep. Not yet Murhaa, not yet. Murhaa trying to control the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Murhaa pulls Steiner in close to his closed guard and prevents Steiner from doing any damage or advancing position. Steiner trying to move into half guard but instead Murhaa has managed to sweep!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that King Murhaa will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Murhaa shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Steiner as he jumps to the side. Steiner thows a body kick. Murhaa tries to catch it but that hurt him. Murhaa tries to clinch but Steiner moves out of range. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Murhaa tries to clinch and Steiner counters with a stiff right hand. Murhaa misses with a takedown and Murhaa takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Steiner pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Dennis Steiner is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Murhaa fails with the takedown letting Steiner counter with a right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for King Murhaa. That's going to take a lot out of him. Murhaa tries for a takedown but Steiner sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Murhaa takes a shot right to the bread basket. Steiner lands a two punch combo.

Steiner leaves Murhaa with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Murhaa takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Nice uppercut there from Steiner. Dennis Steiner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Steiner throws a hook but Murhaa avoids it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Steiner bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Murhaa's head. Steiner paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Steiner clobbers Murhaa with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Steiner scores with the left hand. Murhaa knows he should have avoided that one. Dennis Steiner seems to be getting the better of the standup. Murhaa scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Murhaa seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Steiner does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Murhaa is thwarting Steiner's attempts to control the position. We've been hearing that Murhaa has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Murhaa not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Steiner is trying to get back to full guard. Steiner has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Murhaa wants to work for an arm triangle but Steiner is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Steiner is concentrating on defense, preventing Murhaa from advancing position. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Murhaa in particular looking to stall. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Murhaa missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Steiner is not content to let Murhaa control the position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Nice straight punches there by Steiner. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Steiner.

Murhaa closes the distance and clinches up with Steiner, looking for a takedown. Murhaa pushes Steiner against the cage but Steiner circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Steiner lands with a cross. Steiner lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Murhaa walks into a jab. Murhaa shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Steiner wants to improve his position but Murhaa is controlling well.

Dennis Steiner showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Steiner lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Steiner throws a jab but it's blocked by Murhaa. Murhaa seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Steiner connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Murhaa goes for a double leg but Steiner avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Steiner continues to drive forward. Steiner lands a nice shot that snaps Murhaa's head back.
Steiner comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Murhaa closes the distance but Steiner moves to the side and Steiner counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice shot by Steiner. Steiner fails to land with a series of punches.
Steiner connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Murhaa momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steiner pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Murhaa swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. A thudding body kick lands there by Steiner!
Steiner throws an overhand right that lands on Murhaa's shoulder, as Murhaa tries to avoid the shot. Murhaa checks a low kick from Steiner. Murhaa attempts a counter takedown but Steiner avoids it well and moves away. Murhaa takes one to the side of the head.
A swing and a miss from Steiner. Murhaa shoots in for a takedown but Steiner shows good takedown defense. Murhaa with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Steiner to score with a decent uppercut. Murhaa fails with the takedown and Murhaa takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for King Murhaa. That's going to take a lot out of him. Steiner throws out a powerful jab. Murhaa gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

A quick uppercut on the inside from Steiner. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Steiner throws a punch but it's blocked by Murhaa. Murhaa drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Steiner pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Steiner misses with a hook
and Murhaa counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Murhaa. Murhaa is standing up over Steiner. Steiner looks to escape but Murhaa dives into side control.
Murhaa tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Murhaa tries to move to full mount but Steiner actually manages to regain half guard. Murhaa controlling the action here. Steiner is staying active underneath Murhaa, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Murhaa wants to free his trapped foot but Steiner is holding on for dear life with his legs. Murhaa perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Murhaa thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Murhaa seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Steiner does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Murhaa tries to pass to full mount but Steiner defends it. Steiner controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Murhaa wants to lay and pray for a moment but Steiner keeps working. Steiner tries to get to full guard but Murhaa has control of the leg. Steiner trying to control here.
And that's the end of the fight! Dennis Steiner comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Steiner has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
