Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renato Sobral (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rogers comes to the cage accompanied by target=blank>Mama said knock you out!. Sobral is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by SEPULTURA: ATTITUDE. Renato Sobral is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Fedor Rogers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Renato Sobral! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sobral throws out a leg kick but Rogers moves out of range and Sobral only half commits. Rogers misses with a two punch combination.
Rogers rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sobral moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Sobral swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rogers counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. A chopping leg kick lands by Sobral. Sobral throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Rogers counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Rogers stuffs the takedown attempt from Sobral. Sobral gets slowly back to his feet. Sobral avoids a punch combination nicely.
Rogers drops Sobral with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Sobral looks back up at him and smiles so Rogers waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Sobral is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sobral swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rogers cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Sobral shoots in and drives through. Rogers sprawls well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rogers showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Sobral.
Rogers connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Sobral is still on wobbly legs! Can Rogers finish him? Rogers stuffs the takedown. Sobral seems to have recovered his senses. Fedor Rogers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Renato Sobral. Sobral looks gassed! Sobral walks into a straight right hand from Rogers. Rogers moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Sobral goes down! Can Rogers finish him!?
Sobral is rocked! Sobral will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Sobral is still in real trouble! Can Rogers finish him? Sobral keeping full guard, as Rogers tries to pass. Sobral seems to have recovered his senses. Rogers stopping the sweep attempt from Sobral. Sobral working for a triangle but Rogers defends it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sobral is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Rogers sitting in guard, not really doing much. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rogers trying to stand up but can't free himself from Sobral's guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Sobral throws a combination that misses and Rogers counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Sobral down! Rogers is looking to finish but Sobral is intelligently defending himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sobral trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Rogers tries to stand but Sobral is controlling from the bottom. Sobral throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Rogers pushing down on Sobral's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Rogers is looking to advance position but Sobral won't allow it. Ground and pound from Rogers. Sobral wants to get back to full guard. Rogers passes the guard and advances to mount! Sobral is looking to get to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Rogers takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Rogers manages to capitalize on a mistake by Sobral to take his back! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sobral is trying to break free.
Sobral is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Rogers is riding his opponent, not letting Sobral buck him off. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fedor Rogers dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Rogers punishes Sobral's body with a nice straight punch. Rogers scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Rogers connects with a superb combination that knocks Sobral out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Rogers before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Sobral!
