The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Divac takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

It looks like Roman Divac has been cut.
Divac stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Mma.
Mma missing with a left hand there. Divac was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Mma connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Divac throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Divac fails with an attempt to clinch.
Divac uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mma.

And Mma counters with a quick kick to the body but Divac blocks it.

enabling Divac to counter with a crisp jab.
Mma with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Divac to score with a decent uppercut.
Mma lunges at Divac with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Divac's hand.
Mma throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Divac looks to land a left hand but Mma moved out of range nicely.
