Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Christopher Blackburn (ranked 24079 p4p, 612 weight class) and Wen Chou (ranked 22862 p4p, 617 weight class). Blackburn comes to the cage accompanied by Ultra Nate - Free (Super Extended Dance Vocal Mix). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Christopher Blackburn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 1, fighting out of London, Wen Chou! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blackburn fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Blackburn shoots in and bounces Chou off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Chou being controlled here, momentarily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Blackburn drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Chou dives on top into guard. Chou is fighting to break Blackburn's control of his arms but Blackburn is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chou looking to sit in guard and control but Blackburn gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Chou looking for a sweep. Not yet Chou, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blackburn controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Chou really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Blackburn. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Blackburn's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Chou looking to control.
Blackburn controlling from the top position. Blackburn postures up and lands a big shot to Chou's brow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chou wants to stand and escape but Blackburn is having none of it. Blackburn with a nice head shot there. Chou working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Blackburn. Chou is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Chou wants to sweep here but Blackburn controlling him for the moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. No luck with that takedown attempt from Blackburn. Blackburn stuffs the takedown. Blackburn takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Blackburn gets a takedown into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blackburn works his foot free and advances to mount. Blackburn lands a big shot there that rocks Chou but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
It looks like Wen Chou has been cut. Blackburn takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Blackburn scores with a couple of good head shots there.
This has been an exciting period of action! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Blackburn landing punches. Blackburn controlling the pace for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Christopher Blackburn dominated that round. The cut man is working on Wen Chou's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Blackburn looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Chou trying to hold on to Blackburn's head to control him but Blackburn postures up.
Christopher Blackburn overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Blackburn not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Blackburn with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Further stalling from Blackburn. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Chou wants to get back to his feet.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Chou is looking to clinch. Blackburn closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Chou did well to prevent Blackburn getting side control. Blackburn working Chou over with strikes. Blackburn not doing much here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chou tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Blackburn has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Blackburn controlling the pace for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blackburn has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Blackburn lands with some strikes.
That has opened up Wen Chou's cut even more. Blackburn is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Chou can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Chou is rocked!
The cut above Wen Chou's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Wen Chou's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
