The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cubbedge misses with a few strikes there.
Cubbedge slaps away a takedown attempt from Rita, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Rita goes for a double leg but Cubbedge avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the ropes as Cubbedge continues to drive forward.

My spies in Xtreme Foraging Systems inform me that Cubbedge has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Cubbedge has hold of Rita's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Rita seems comfortable defending it but Cubbedge has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Rita is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Rita is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Cubbedge couldn't care less - he's delighted!
