Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jarrod Sellers (ranked 6418 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Tiger (ranked 3294 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jarrod Sellers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sellers gets tackled into the cage by Tiger. Tiger maintains the clinch.
Sellers tries to work over Tiger's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Sellers misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Tiger.

Tiger breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Tiger tries to land knees in the clinch but Sellers avoids the damage to the body.
Sellers tries to pull guard but Tiger won't allow it.
Sellers wants to break free but Tiger has control.
Sellers fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Sellers is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Tiger to keep the fight standing.

Tiger works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Sellers has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Tiger has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Sellers tries to break the clinch but Tiger is controlling the position.

Sellers really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Tiger breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Sellers counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Tiger drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Sellers is looking to stand back up but Tiger counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Sellers.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Sellers slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Tiger's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Sellers wants to stand up but Tiger is controlling him.

Tiger stands and steps away. Sellers gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Sellers gets caught napping as Tiger dives in and scores a takedown. Sellers manages to retain guard.

Sellers is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Tiger presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Tiger walks into a jab.
Sellers changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tiger tries to avoid it but Sellers manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tiger to the ground. Tiger escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Tiger shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tiger showed some decent athleticism there.
Tiger throws a strike but Sellers avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sellers has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Tiger is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Sellers jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tiger walks away with a smile on his face. Sellers gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Sellers tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tiger defends well and Sellers ends up having to push Tiger into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Sellers with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Tiger to score with a decent uppercut.
