Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Issac Haynes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bo Ang! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paulsen Ambrosius and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ang lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Haynes circles away quickly and effectively. Haynes seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Ang throws a head kick that misses. Ang looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Haynes! Haynes throws Ang to one side and escapes! Ang throws a wild combination but nothing lands. It looked like Haynes was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Haynes gets caught napping as Ang dives in and scores a takedown. Haynes manages to retain guard. Haynes has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Ang is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. This has been an exciting period of action! A bit of stalling here from Haynes.

Ang pulls guard. Haynes stays in close to Ang's body and controls the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ang looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Ang has his foot on Haynes's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Haynes works his way back into a safe position though. Ang throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Ang looks winded! Haynes controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Haynes postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Haynes stays in close to Ang's body and controls the position. Ang looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Ang throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Ang really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Haynes. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Haynes engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Haynes chips away with some ground and pound. Haynes makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Haynes lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Haynes lands a couple of digs. Haynes gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Ang is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Ang slips under a jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ang looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Haynes! Haynes throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Ang closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ang lands in his opponent's guard. Haynes scrambles and gets back to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action! Ang bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Haynes wants to get back to his feet but Ang drags him back down. Haynes manages to get back to half guard. Haynes makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Haynes. Haynes wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Haynes working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ang doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Haynes is tightening it up a little... Ang has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Ang reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Ang taps out! Nice BJJ there by Haynes!
