Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Laat Dovah-Kinn (ranked 2362 p4p, 269 weight class) and Jeti Rostedt (ranked 1691 p4p, 199 weight class). Dovah-Kinn comes to the cage accompanied by Disturbed - Immortalized. Rostedt has chosen Silent Running as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 7 - 1, fighting out of London, Laat Dovah-Kinn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jeti Rostedt! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Dmitry Maklakov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rostedt slips a straight right by Dovah-Kinn. Dovah-Kinn uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rostedt.
Rostedt tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A punch combination from Rostedt misses. Rostedt swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Rostedt misses with a two punch combination.
Dovah-Kinn moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Rostedt misses with a hook. Dovah-Kinn tries to counter with a takedown but Rostedt is quick to defend against it. Dovah-Kinn throws a shot from downtown. Rostedt moves away and avoids it. Dovah-Kinn throws a body punch but Rostedt moves out of range. Dovah-Kinn bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Rostedt's head. Rostedt throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A decent looking cross lands there for Dovah-Kinn. Dovah-Kinn throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Rostedt. Rostedt slips under a jab. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rostedt throws a nice looking combination but Dovah-Kinn bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Rostedt throws a head kick but Dovah-Kinn moves out of range.
Dovah-Kinn shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Dovah-Kinn shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rostedt napping and manages to drive through into side control!
That's one minute gone in the round. Dovah-Kinn wants to control but Rostedt is keeping him busy. Rostedt taking punishment in the form of punches.
The strikes coming from Dovah-Kinn are missing the target in this wave of attacks. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rostedt gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Rostedt is trying to control but can't.
Rostedt wants to get back to full guard. Dovah-Kinn is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Dovah-Kinn is looking for a kimura but Rostedt is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Dovah-Kinn to get the leverage. Rostedt is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Dovah-Kinn is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Rostedt defends it well. Rostedt is refusing to be controlled, as Dovah-Kinn sits in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rostedt tries to roll over but Dovah-Kinn keeps him under control. Dovah-Kinn takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Dovah-Kinn wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rostedt keeps working. Dovah-Kinn thows a huge punch but Rostedt dodges it nicely.
Rostedt is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Rostedt looking for submissions off his back. Rostedt is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Dovah-Kinn scores with a couple of nice shots. Dovah-Kinn working over Rostedt with some ground and pound. Rostedt looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dovah-Kinn wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rostedt keeps working. Dovah-Kinn lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Rostedt is looking to improve his position.

Rostedt is looking to control Dovah-Kinn's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Rostedt avoid being mounted? Rostedt moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Dovah-Kinn lands a couple of digs. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Dovah-Kinn's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Dovah-Kinn cracks Rostedt with a solid left hand. Rostedt has momentary wrist control but Dovah-Kinn slips an elbow through the middle. Rostedt is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Rostedt utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Dovah-Kinn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rostedt swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Rostedt told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Dovah-Kinn postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Dovah-Kinn passes Rostedt's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Dovah-Kinn is keen to just control but Rostedt is a slippery customer. Rostedt is looking to control Dovah-Kinn's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Rostedt avoid being mounted? Ground and pound from Dovah-Kinn. Rostedt is looking for a sweep. Dovah-Kinn is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Dovah-Kinn scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Dovah-Kinn lands a head shot. Dovah-Kinn has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Rostedt finds it's way round the side to connect with Dovah-Kinn's head. Dovah-Kinn is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Rostedt can do to turn this around? Dovah-Kinn scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Rostedt throws a lazy right hand but Dovah-Kinn sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Rostedt tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Dovah-Kinn is able to avoid easily. Dovah-Kinn swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Rostedt. Dovah-Kinn feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Rostedts jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Rostedt gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dovah-Kinn tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Dovah-Kinn blocks a punch to the side of the head.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Dovah-Kinn. Dovah-Kinn misses with a hook from the clinch. Dovah-Kinn manages to break the clinch.
Rostedt scores with a jab. Dovah-Kinn acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Dovah-Kinn on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Dovah-Kinn bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Rostedt's head backwards. Rostedt showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dovah-Kinn.

Dovah-Kinn has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Rostedt wants to sweep here but Dovah-Kinn controlling him for the moment. Rostedt is still trying to improve position.

Rostedt tries to bench press Dovah-Kinn off him but Dovah-Kinn keeps the position. You can see the frustration on Rostedt's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Dovah-Kinn is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Rostedt knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Rostedt struggling a bit here. Dovah-Kinn lands an elbow. Dovah-Kinn thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Dovah-Kinn lands some shots froms side control. Rostedt regains half guard. Rostedt wants to get back to full guard. Dovah-Kinn is trying to control. Rostedt wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Dovah-Kinn looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Rostedt with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Rostedt has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dovah-Kinn is working away from the top position though. Rostedt tries to kick Dovah-Kinn off but Dovah-Kinn keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

This could be trouble! No, Rostedt has managed to free his arm - good work. Rostedt tries to roll over but Dovah-Kinn keeps him under control. Rostedt is staying active underneath Dovah-Kinn, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. and Dovah-Kinn decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rostedt's guard. Dovah-Kinn works over Rostedt with some ground and pound from guard. Dovah-Kinn with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Dovah-Kinn not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Dovah-Kinn stopping the sweep attempt from Rostedt. Dovah-Kinn landing with the ground and pound. Laat Dovah-Kinn overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Dovah-Kinn got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rostedt has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dovah-Kinn has managed to get both his arms back between Rostedt's legs - danger averted. Dovah-Kinn throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Rostedt has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dovah-Kinn can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Dovah-Kinn cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Rostedt is rocked! Dovah-Kinn landing shots from mount. Rostedt is still in real trouble! Can Dovah-Kinn finish him? Dovah-Kinn postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! Rostedt is out cold - huge knockout for Dovah-Kinn!
