The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Daniel Franklin and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guerrero closes the distance and clinches.
Guerrero misses with a hook from the clinch.
Pitts fails to pull guard.
Guerrero is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Guerrero stalls.
A bit of stalling here from Guerrero.
Guerrero misses with some punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pitts drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Pitts.

Guerrero displaying some good clinch control by pressing Pitts up against the cage.

Pitts has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Pitts changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Guerrero fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jonathan Pitts. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Guerrero throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Pitts was covering up waiting for the punch and Guerrero finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Pitts has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Guerrero off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Guerrero takes a swing at Pitts's ribcage but misses.
Pitts dives in for a single leg takedown but Guerrero sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Pitts looks to clinch
and Guerrero counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Pitts!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pitts is looking for a sweep.
Guerrero looks up at the clock and then as Pitts takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Guerrero smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Guerrero is looking to take a break and control but Pitts is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Pitts is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Guerrero asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Guerrero is putting a hurting on Pitts here, landing some big shots from side control.
Pitts is looking for a sweep.
Guerrero takes a little break here. Pitts wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Pitts is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Guerrero working over Pitts with some ground and pound. Pitts looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Guerrero is nestled in close to Pitts, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Guerrero seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Pitts trying to hold on to Guerrero's head to control him but Guerrero postures up.
Pitts is pressing down on Guerrero's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Guerrero really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pitts. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Pitts has momentary wrist control but Guerrero slips an elbow through the middle.
Pitts is rocked!
Pitts is breathing heavily.
Guerrero works over Pitts with some ground and pound from guard.
Oh Pitts is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Guerrero postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Pitts covers up, he's hurt! Guerrero keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Guerrero and the ref steps in to end the fight! Guerrero can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eddie Guerrero!
A very excited looking Eddie Guerrero made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
Jonathan Pitts spoke after the fight, saying 'Damn man good fight '.
