Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alan Vaughn (ranked 6033 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devin Alvis (ranked 7150 p4p, 0 weight class). Alvis is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: God’s plan. Devin Alvis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alan Vaughn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Devin Alvis! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alvis is looking to clinch but Vaughn is avoiding it.
Vaughn swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Vaughn looks to score with a jab to the body but Alvis is just out of range. Alvis lands with a thumping leg kick.
Vaughn on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Alvis bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Vaughn tries to improve position but can't. Vaughn is working hard here to advance position. Alvis creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Vaughn is not content to let Alvis control the position. Alvis tries to advance to mount but can't. Vaughn tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Alvis wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alvis laying and praying for a moment but Vaughn takes advantage and regains half guard. Vaughn looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Vaughn regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Alvis. Vaughn working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Alvis. Alvis trying to control but Vaughn is working from the bottom. Vaughn has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Alvis can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Alvis is looking to stand up but Vaughn won't let him. Alvis looking to pass the guard. Vaughn has his feet on Alvis's thighs here. He's pushed Alvis off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Alvis screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
