The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but Love swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Love is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Silva doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Love.
Love should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Love is working to tighten is grip on Silva's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Silva has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Love is really squeezing tight and eventually Silva passes out! Love breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
