Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Petr Makarov (ranked 2992 p4p, 386 weight class) and Giampaolo Turturro (ranked 2074 p4p, 290 weight class). The key to victory for Petr Makarov has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Petr Makarov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Giampaolo Turturro!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Santiago Holmes and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makarov throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Turturro stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Makarov throws a shot to the body.
Makarov circles away from the clinch attempt.
Turturro's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Makarov connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Turturro scrambles back to his feet.
Makarov lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Makarov.
Makarov connects with the punch.
Turturro fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Makarov, pushing him back against the cage.
Turturro fails to pull guard.
Turturro pulls Makarov into guard.
Turturro pulls Makarov in close to his closed guard and prevents Makarov from doing any damage or advancing position.
Makarov has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Makarov has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Turturro to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Makarov is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Turturro pulls down on the head and he's put Makarov to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Giampaolo Turturro!
A very excited looking Giampaolo Turturro rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
