Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between JT Smith (ranked 3522 p4p, 425 weight class) and Rodney Halford (ranked 2671 p4p, 357 weight class). Smith comes to the cage accompanied by Im your boogie man. JT Smith has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, JT Smith! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rodney Halford! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Santiago Holmes and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Halford avoids the body shot from Smith.
Smith swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Smith takes a shot right to the bread basket. Donk. Halford catches Smith right on the button with a cross. Smith moves into range and clinches up with Halford. Smith keeps control of Halford as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Smith jumps into guard, dragging Halford to the mat.
Smith manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Halford manages to get himself to full guard.
Smith stands up over Halford, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Smith lands a couple of elbows. Smith throws a big right hand that misses. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Smith wants to control from the top but Halford keeps moving. Smith drops back looking for a leg! Smith has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Halford after a bit of a struggle. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Nope, Halford circles away and we're back to standing. Halford ducks down and throws a hook to the body. JT Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Smith sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Halford throws a front kick that sends Smith stumbling back into the cage. Halford lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Smith at a distance.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A decent looking body kick lands there for Halford. Halford lands a nice hook to Smith's body. Smith takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Smith is rocked! Smith takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Oh Smith is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Halford moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Halford buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Smith seems to have got his legs back now. Halford lands a nice hook to Smith's body. Smith takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Halford lands a brutal head kick. Smith looks out on his feet and Halford throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
