Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Island Boy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, White Death! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Bart Greer and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boy misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Death.
A cross from Death lands. Boy throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Death sees it coming and avoids it easily. Boy lands with a good body shot. Death keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Boy. Boy misses with an uppercut. Death now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Death moves away from the strike by Boy. Boy misses with a body shot.
Boy misses the jab. Boy looks to land a right hand but Death moved out of range. Death takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Death should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Boy takes a swing at Death's ribcage but misses. Death doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Boy misses with an uppercut. Death saw that one coming. Death swings for the body but Boy moves out of range.
Boy throws a jab but it's blocked by Death. Death let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Boy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Boy swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Death will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boy steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Death. Death lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Boy slips a jab from Death. Boy tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Death manages to circle out of the way. Boy swings for the body but Death moves out of range.
Boy throws a big shot that misses. A jab from Death misses. Death lands with a shot to the body. Boy misses with a shot to the body and Death connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Boy ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Death swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Death takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Boy takes a shot right to the bread basket. Death swings for the body but Boy moves out of range.
Boy slips a straight right by Death. Boy getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Boy misses with a left hand and Death counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Death scores with a decent looking hook. Boy slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Death lands with a good body shot. Boy just misses with a punch to the body.
Boy misses the body punch and Death cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Boy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Boy walks into a straight right hand from Death. Death misses the jab. Boy wants to clinch and Death connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. A jab from Death misses. Boy tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Death manages to circle out of the way. Boy connects with a crisp jab. Death takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Boy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A countering left hand to the body from Death misses. Boy staying out of range there. Boy dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Death ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Death slips under a jab from Boy. Death jabbing away but nothing is landing. Nice uppercut there from Boy. Boy throws a lazy uppercut
and Boy takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Boy jabbing away but nothing is landing. Boy changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Death looks winded! Death tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Boy was well out of range. Poor timing from Death. Boy tries to clinch but Death moves out of range. Boy works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Boy fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Death to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Death looks to clinch but Boy throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Death taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
