Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Adolfo Cole (ranked 5320 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quincy York (ranked 8024 p4p, 0 weight class). Quincy York is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Adolfo Cole! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Quincy York! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cole gets caught flat footed, as York shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Cole trying to control the position.
York's corner is telling him to maintain position. Cole could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Cole is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. York is aware though and is defending well. Cole throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cole escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. York gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. York must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Cole is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
 That's one minute gone in the round. York slips nicely into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. York prevents Cole from improving his position. Cole is looking to control York's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Cole avoid being mounted?
York is trying a forearm choke� I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
York performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. York is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Cole reverses the position - he's now on top in York's guard. Cole stopping the sweep attempt from York. Cole with a flurry of punches that miss.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Cole has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of York is proving hard to escape from. York is trying to control the position but Cole postures up. York is pulling down on Cole's head. It's preventing any offense from Cole, at least for the moment.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. York misses with a double jab
and Cole counters with a nice low kick that buckles York's knee momentarily.
York scores with a takedown into Cole's guard. York trying to control but Cole is working from the bottom.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. York prevents Cole from getting back to his feet.
Cole has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but York can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. York stays in close to Cole's body and controls the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Cole looking to control.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Quincy York will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
York tries to close the distance and clinch but Cole swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. York throws a combination that misses and Cole makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Adolfo Cole is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
York shoots in and bounces Cole off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Quincy York has got the better of the ground game so far.
York gets to his feet - Cole follows without any prompting.
York shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than York was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Cole is looking for a sweep. Cole gets back to half guard. Cole wants to get back to full guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Well, if York is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight� I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza� Yum. Can't wait.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. York keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Cole's head. York sitting in guard, not really doing much. Cole keeping full guard, as York tries to pass. Cole lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Cole wants to stand but York has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Cole in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. York wants to get back to his feet but Cole is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Cole avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
York has control of Cole's left arm, preventing Cole from doing any damage. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if York can do anything to dispel that myth. York controls Cole momentarily but Cole frees himself.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. York might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Cole haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Cole trying to stand up but can't free himself from York's guard.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Adolfo Cole is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Cole swats away the attempt to clinch by York.
York closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Cole's guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! York looking to sit in guard and control but Cole gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
York is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Adolfo Cole will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
A nice leg kick lands there from Cole. York attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. York darts in trying to clinch and Cole counters with a low kick, right behind York 's knee. York tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cole paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Cole gets in close and instigates a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cole ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Cole no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. York seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Cole throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Cole looking for a sweep. Not yet Cole, not yet. York advances position into side control! Cole seems a little lost for a moment, as York dominates the positioning. Cole is looking for a sweep. York staying calm.
York decides to stand up, so the ref orders Cole to his feet.
 That's two minutes gone in the round.
York shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cole's guard. York not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. York's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
York gets to his feet. Cole looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! York throws a series of punches but Cole avoids them all with ease. Cole is looking to counter the offense by York and move into the clinch. York doesn't manage to clinch there - Cole circles away.
York gets a takedown into half guard. York takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. York is taking a breather. Cole says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Cole trying to control but York postures up.
 That's four minutes gone in the round.
York is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Cole defends it well. York controlling the action here. York is thwarting Cole's attempts to control the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Quincy York comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think York has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
