Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mohsin Zaidi (ranked 805 p4p, 123 weight class) and Scott Murley (ranked 1048 p4p, 164 weight class). Murley has chosen Rage Against The Machine | Bulls On Parade as his entrance music. Scott Murley told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Scott Murley! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Steve Montenegro and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zaidi connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Murley momentarily.
Murley steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Zaidi. Murley misses with an uppercut. Zaidi circles away from the clinch attempt.
Murley's coach down at ~T~ Troid - Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Murley's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Zaidi tries to land a body kick and Murley counters with a lovely shot to the body. Zaidi closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Murley did well to prevent Zaidi getting side control. Murley trying to control from the bottom.
Zaidi thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Zaidi lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Zaidi landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Zaidi has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Zaidi thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Murley's head. Murley is trying to get back to full guard. Murley is looking to control Zaidi's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Murley avoid being mounted? Murley tries to roll over but Zaidi keeps him under control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Murley looks like he's trying to stand up.

Zaidi winds up and cracks Murley with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Zaidi passes to full mount! Murley is trying to escape the mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zaidi raining down hammerfists from mount.
It looks like Scott Murley has been cut. A big strike lands for Zaidi! That's really hurt Murley and he's turned his back - Zaidi keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Zaidi jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

A very excited looking Mohsin Zaidi made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
