Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jean-Claude Marceau!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jorge Garcia and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen slips under a jab from Marceau.
Allen is looking to counter the offense by Marceau and move into the clinch.
Allen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Allen throws the left hand but Marceau avoids the punch easily.

Allen ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Marceau throws out a loose jab but Allen uses good head movement to avoid it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Allen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Marceau manages to avoid it.

Allen throws a hook to the side of Marceau's head but Marceau sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Allen forces Marceau back against the cage and clinches.

Allen pushes Marceau back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Marceau tries to work over Allen's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Marceau throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Allen tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

A nice right hand lands inside from Allen.
Allen tries to throw a body punch but Marceau avoids it by throwing Allen back against the cage.

Marceau escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Allen stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Marceau.
Allen takes one on the button.
Marceau blocks a jab.
Allen throws a sloppy body shot
and Marceau counters with a nice leg kick.
Marceau cracks Allen with a right hand to the side of the head.
Allen works the jab nicely.
Marceau takes a swing at Allen's ribcage but misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that George Allen will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on George Allen's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

George Allen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
