Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vinny Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Kampmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Junior Kampmann!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kampmann shoots in for a double leg but Martin sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Martin fails with an attempt to clinch.
Martin tries for a takedown but Kampmann sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A clash of legs there as Martin blocks the low kick.
Martin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kampmann's waist but Kampmann gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Martin off to one side.

and Kampmann counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vinny Martin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kampmann slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kampmann drops back looking for a leg! Martin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Martin manages to kick Kampmann off! Kampmann jumps back into Martin's guard.

Kampmann sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Martin's guard.

Kampmann is nestled in close to Martin, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Martin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kampmann on the ground.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Kampmann is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Martin can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Kampmann cracks Martin with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Martin wants to hold on but Kampmann pushes him away.
Kampmann is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Martin is surviving well by controlling Kampmann's body position as best he can.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
