Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Pate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marley McSlipster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McSlipster throws an overhand right that lands on Pate's shoulder, as Pate tries to avoid the shot.

Pate misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from McSlipster.
Pate attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
McSlipster swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
McSlipster throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Pate throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Pate avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
McSlipster tries for a takedown but Pate sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Pate is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but McSlipster is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

McSlipster had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Pate is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. McSlipster Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Pate's back instead.
